End of year thank you cards

Most primary schools in Ireland finish for the summer at the end of June, and the last week is when the cards arrive on the teacher’s desk. A message in the child’s own words, typed exactly as they said it, means more to most teachers than anything else. Remember the SNA, the principal and the Montessori leader too.

What a teacher likes to read

Pick one thing from the year: the class play, the science project, the patience with long division or the help with reading. A line from the parents about the difference it made at home is always welcome, and so is a class photo on the front.
