We've designed our website to ensure finding and ordering gifts is easy. Each order can contain one or more gifts and can be sent to one recipient's address. If you're buying two gifts for two recipients at two locations, you'll need to place two separate orders. If you do have any queries at any time, please contact us.

Cheque: You may also send a cheque, bank draft, postal order or make a bank transfer. Orders will be processed upon receipt of payment.
Valued Added Tax (VAT) is an Irish government tax applied to goods and services. There are three primary VAT rates within Ireland: 23%, 13.5% and 0%. Prices shown are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. The standard VAT rate is 23% VAT. Some other items such as books and food are based at the lower rates.
Whether VAT is charged is dependent on the destination of the goods (the recipient's location or shipping address) and not your location. The below table provides a summary:

Yes, as per our Terms & Conditions, you can return your item to us within 7 working days of receipt as long as the goods are in perfect condition and the packaging remains in an 'as new' state. Prior to returning the item, please contact us to recieve a Product Return Code to ensure the item is accurately tracked. To recieve a PRC, contact us. Perhisable goods and customised goods made according to custom specifications may not be returned. These terms do not affect your statutory rights. No. Along with the gift, we include a Packing Slip and a Greeting Card with your personal message. No details are sent which lists the value of the gift you have purchased. Instead this is automatically emailed to you when you place your order.
Yes. The Packing Slip automatically includes the customer's full name, address and contact details. We do reccommend however that you complete the Greeting field when placing an order.
The gifts.ie website ships within Ireland and worldwide. The possible destinations are based on the gift itself so see the product's description page.
gifts.ie have partnered with An Post's ExpressCourier service, Fastway Couriers, Federal Express and other local couriers to offer flexible delivery options. The available shipping options for the chosen destination will be presented during checkout.
This is dependent on the gift itself, i.e. personalised gifts may take longer to arrive. Please see the product's description page for typical arrival times.
Yes, you can request a certain delivery day for items dispatched directly from gifts.ie. When completing your order, simply enter a note in the Order Comments field with your requested date. Although we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates, we will try our very best to have your gift arrive on the requested day. Please remember that no deliveries take place on weekends of bank holidays.
No, unfortunately at present it is not possible to specify a delivery time during a specific day to deliver gifts. We use third party nationwide couriers who deliver our gifts via hundreds of local drivers. If you believe your recipient or someone on their behalf may not be at home for delivery, perhaps you can specify a suitable work address.
Passwords are not accessible via our customer service team, so if you have forgotten your password, simply go to the login page and click on the 'Password forgotten? Click here' link. You will need to enter in your email address and will be automatically sent a new random password, which you can of course change as soon as you want to something more personal and memorable.
