Headline: BABY AOIFE ROSE BORN! PARENTS CELEBRATE WONDERFUL NEWS!

Sub-headline: Ireland Celebrates Birth of Beautiful Little Girl

Story:

Christ Church Cathedral’s bells were heard ringing in celebration of the wonderful news of the birth of Aoife Rose. Delighted parents, Orla and Declan said that they were over the moon at the arrival of Aoife Rose and can’t wait to get her home to meet her new family.

‘I have to admit,’ said Prof. James Clarke of the Rotunda, ‘in all my thirty years’ experience, I’ve never seen such a gorgeous child.’ Aoife Rose’s arrival home will be delayed by several hours as nurses and doctors pose to have their pictures taken with her.

An Taoiseach was among the first to congratulate Orla and Declan. ‘It signals a new beginning in Ireland and a commencement of hope for all our futures,’ he said. ‘I will be meeting with other members of the Dáil later today to draft a new bill that will see 20th June declared a national holiday.’

‘I simply can’t wait to get them all on the show,’ Late Late Show presenter Patrick Kielty said today. ‘The phones have been buzzing all week in anticipation of this joyous event.’ Dermot Kennedy is rumoured to be organising a free concert in Mullingar in order to honour Aoife Rose’s arrival home. ‘It’s the very least I can do for my pals, Orla and Declan,’ he added. ‘They’ve been such a huge support to me since my busking days on Grafton Street.’

We, at The Irish Gazette, would also like to wish Orla, Declan, and of course Aoife Rose, all the happiness in the world.
