About Alphabet Jigsaws
Since 1997, Alphabet Jigsaws has been creating original handcrafted wooden jigsaw puzzles for kids of all ages. We have an extensive range of wooden jigsaw puzzles that includes some wonderful Alphabet, Number and Map Jigsaws as well as our newest ranges of Irish Language and Science and Nature Jigsaws. Designed in Ireland, all of our jigsaw puzzles are cut from sustainably sourced wood and painted by hand in dazzling colours, using non-toxic acrylic paints, like small works of art! Our wooden jigsaw puzzles are designed to encourage dexterity and logic and although educational, the emphasis has always been on making the puzzles fun.
For over 20 years, we were based in Westport, County Mayo but we recently moved to Wicklow, swapping the Wild West for the Garden of Ireland where we continue to create and design our amazing range of products.
The puzzles are produced, by hand, in a rural part of Sri Lanka amidst rice paddies and tea plantations. We have been working with the same family for over twenty five years and have forged an incredibly close relationship with them, based on trust and the mutual desire to produce an exciting range of beautiful and unique jigsaw puzzles.
