About Graham Knuttel.
Graham Knuttel is an Irish painter and sculptor, whose work has been collected by various celebrities, such as Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, Frank Sinatra, Eddie Jordan and Michael Stipe. Initially known for sculptures, he has since become a painter.
Although Graham is best known as a painter, he graduated from art school as a sculptor. In those days his medium was woodcarving and construction.
Graham’s collaboration with Tipperary Crystal has gone from strength to strength over the last year. The initial range included cappuccino and espresso cups, serving plates in three different sizes and large limited edition plates. The range now also boasts teapots, mugs, eggcups as well as limited edition aprons and prints!
When Graham was asked about his collaboration with Tipperary Crystal he had this to say, “Being asked to design this collection of fine porcelain for Tipperary Crystal has been a challenge but also great fun. I work in many different mediums and ceramic design was a subject I studied 30 years ago so it was great to return to my youth! I hope you find this collection whimsical, colourful and carefree.”
